All the menu appearance fine-tuning takes place on the Appearance tab in the DHTML Menu Extension window. This tab is divided into two main areas:

Menu Properties
Here you have a list of available options that control the appearance and behavior of the menu. Meaning of every property is described in the information area below the property grid.

Important note
Some properties, like for example Background color, only affect the HTML menu skins and changing them for a menu with bitmap skin selected will have no visible effect.

Menu Preview
Provides an instant preview of how the menu will look like in a web browser. Every time you change an option in the Menu Properties this preview is automatically updated.
