Once you insert a new menu or edit an existing one, the DHTML menu editor is displayed. The process of building a menu usually involves going through the following steps:
Building the menu structure
Using the menu structure editor you insert, modify and rearrange menu items. You choose the menu orientation and set basic properties of menu items such as captions, target URLs and icons.
Choosing the menu skin
Using the skin gallery, containing nearly 500 ready-made skins, you choose the right appearance for your needs. The gallery is searchable, allowing you to find skins by tags (keywords) such as: blue, metal or fancy.
Fine-tuning menu appearance
Using a wide variety of menu options you can control almost every aspect of the final menu look and feel - from fonts, colors and spacing, to special effects such as transparency, glow and shadow. Your changes are instantly visible in the menu preview, that reflects exactly how the menu will look like in the web browser.
