Now we will create a Dynamic Web Template (DWT) and put our menu there. This template will be applied to the other pages, reducing the amount of work needed to create and maintain the navigation.

Choose File > New... > Page... from the main menu and choose Dynamic Web Template.

The new template page appears as Untitled - let's save it under the name template.dwt . You should now have two pages in the Folder List of our Web Site.

As you can see the template page has a specially marked region called an Editable Region. This is a place that holds content that changes from page to page. Everything outside this region is a common content that will be the same among all the pages such as your logo, background, layout and global navigation elements.
