Setting item properties

User's Guide: Building the menu > Creating the menu structure

In order to set a property of the item you have to:

Select the item you want to set the property for, either by clicking or by using the arrow keys on the keyboard.
Click on the desired property in the Item Properties grid and enter a new value. You can also press Enter key on the keyboard which will jump to the caption property.

Please note, that the meaning of every property is described in the information area below the property grid.

Important note
DHTML Menu Add-in requires colors to be provided in an HTML-compatible format. This means that the color has to be in form #RRGGBB, where R, G and B are valid hexadecimal numbers or it has to be a valid HTML color name like green, chocolate or DarkSlateGray. The RGB values and names are case insensitive (you can type them in any case you want).
