Most of DHTML Menu Studio's competing products insert hidden code that's only visible to Google (and other search engines) or for users with disabled JavaScript support containing links to their websites. This boosts the Google rank of the menu software vendor's website and at the same time negatively affects your site's rank! We feel this is unfair (means cheating customers who don't realize this) and therefore we never use such practices with any of our software.
If using competing products, or any other products that generate HTML code to be used on websites, we suggest that you check for hidden code and remove it (if your license allows it). Usually such code can be found in a <noscript> section (which is visible if user's browser doesn't support JavaScript or if the user disabled JavaScript support), or even worse, such code can be sometimes found as regular HTML code with a CSS style set by JavaScript that makes the link invisible.
Please note that this not only negatively affects your website's page rank (as all outbound links) but can also result in Google banning your website completely! (in case of hiding content with JavaScript-set CSS styles).
