Creating Sequences of Follow-Up Messages

One of the coolest FollowUpXpert’s features is that it lets create a sequence of messages, define delays before each next message is sent and automatically handle delivery of the messages to your prospects. Each prospect is handled individually. Along with the ability to automatically process opt-in and opt-out requests this gives you a tremendous automatic follow-up system. You can use it for anything: follow up on your prospects after they contact you asking about your services, send promotional materials, deliver a course divided into several parts covering a topic related to your product or service and so on.

For instance, let’s say a new customer – Judy – sends you a question about one of your XYZ widgets. FollowUpXpert takes a note of this fact and checks if Judy is already in the prospects database. She is not so it sends her an invitation to be added to the mailing list. She says yes and receives a welcome letter along with a link to a special case study about a company that uses your widget. Then, one day later she receives another email describing special benefits of using your product plus a link to a special report on your website. She still has not bought your product so FollowUpXpert sends her another email after 7 days offering a special 20% discount if she decides to order the product within two weeks. Then two weeks later (she still stubbornly refuses to buy your wonderful production) the program sends her another message. This time is asking why she has not still ordered the widget and if she has any comments, suggestions or complains. At any time if the program notices that she has ordered the product, she is removed from the prospects database and no further messages are sent. Or your sales staff can remove her manually at any point. Or she can decide at some stage she wants to be removed and send an opt-out request or click an unsubscribe link. The software can handle all this automatically.
