Inserting Tables

 

To insert an HTML table that lets you position text and images on separate columns, click the “Insert Table” button . Specify the number of rows and columns, and click “OK”.

 

Optionally, you can type the width of the border, the background color (using the #rrggbb syntax), and cell padding and spacing.

 

You can also change the width of the table by typing the preferred width followed by “px” (pixels) or “%” (percent), e.g. 640px, 300px, 100%, 50%.

 

 

Inserting Horizontal Lines

 

To insert a horizontal line, click the “Insert Horizontal Line” button . This is actually all there is to it. Simply select the place in text you want to insert a horizontal line, and click the button.

 

 

Indenting Text

 

Use these two buttons to increase and decrease text indentation: . Select text you want to change indentation of, and click the “Decrease Indent” button or the “Increase Indent” button to control indentation.

 

 

Using Lists

 

You can insert a list of items into text. To insert a bulleted list, click the “Bullets” button . For an ordered list, click the “Numbering” button . To add an item to the list, type some text, and press the “Enter” key. To end adding items, click the “Enter” button twice in a row.
