Prerequisites

To integrate your mailing list (or autoresponder but I am going to use "mailing list" throughout this tutorial) with a web form on your web server, you need to make sure that anytime a visitor submits it, the forms sends an email message containing the submitted details to an email address you own. The mailing list you want to integrate must download messages from the account corresponding to this email address.

It works like this:

1.	User enters his or her information into the web form and clicks "Submit".

2.	The form sends an email message to the special email address.

3.	Your mailing list picks up the message and inserts a new subscriber entry populated with information extracted from the message.
