Using Scheduler |

Sometimes you want your autoresponder to reply to incoming emails only at certain time of day. Or you may want it to be active throughout the weekend and inactive during working days.
If you are using FollowUpExpert Business edition or better, you can access options that control this functionality by clicking the “Schedule” button. It is available on the “General” tab of the “Autoresponder” or "Mailing List" window (double-click an autoresponder/mailing list icon to bring up the window; if you are unsure about how you can do it, please read the section entitled Using the Main Window).
Click the “Schedule” button to bring up the “Schedule” window. Then click the “Enable at certain times” option. Now you can type the beginning and the end of time the autoresponder/mailing list is active; just remember to turn on the “Between” option.
On top of it, you can select days of the week on which you want it to be active.
Note: The time text boxes use the 24-hour clock.
For instance, to have your autoresponder kick in after your work hours on business days, type 17:00 and 09:00 in the text boxes (use the values that correspond to your own schedule). Clear the “Saturday” and “Sunday” check box.
Below you may see how the “Schedule” window may look like after you fill it out.
Click the “OK” button. This is it! Your autoresponder will do nothing with messages it receives during your business hours; it will handle only those that come in during the time you are away (17PM to 9AM). |
