Is there a way to import addresses from Outlook Express?
 
FollowUpExpert can import addresses from a tab-delimited (*.txt) or comma-separated (*.csv) text file.

To export your Address Book from Outlook Express please follow these steps:

1. Open Outlook Express.
2. Click "File" > "Export" > "Address Book".
3. Select "Text File (Comma Separated Values)" and click "Export".
4. Type in a path to a known location on your hard drive you want the file to be saved to or use the "Browse" button.
5. Click "Next" and "Finish".

To import the file into FollowUpExpert:

1. Open FollowUpExpert.
2. Double-click the icon of the mailing list you want to import the addresses into.
3. Click the "Subscribers" tab.
4. Click "Import".
5. Click "From file".
6. Browse to the location on your hard drive where you have saved the exported addresses, select the file and click "Open".
7. Select the field to save the email address to in the "Target Field" column; choose the "Email" field.
8. Same for the name; choose the "Name" field this time.
9. Click "Import".

Note: If you are using FollowUpExpert Business you can map additional columns to custom fields.
