We are marketing two seemingly similar email products. Here are the differences between the two products.
MailXpert is an advanced email handling tool; you can build sets of rules to handle your messages in various way. It comes with three wizards that will generate rules for a discussion mailing list, newsletter mailing list and a simple autoresponder. It is very flexible but has no ability to send a sequences of emails at predefined intervals (follow up). You can find out more about this product here.
FollowUpExpert, on the other hand, is a sequential autoresponder/newsletter application. You can
create autoresponders and mailing lists but you cannot create a discussion
mailing list. You can find more details about this product here
The reason they are separate is that we wanted FollowUpExpert to be as easy
to use as possible. It wouldn't be possible if it was implemented in terms
of message processing rules and so on (actually it does use the rules
internally).
