When you start MailXpert after installation and either enter your registration details or choose to evaluate the product, you will see this MailXpert
Setup wizard:

Figure 1 MailXpert Setup Wizard - the first step
This wizard is only launched when you start MailXpert for the first time and will not appear on subsequent runs. You can use it to
set up how often MailXpert will check for new email messages and to set the maximum size of incoming messages that are accepted. I recommend that you mark the
Do not accept messages larger than option to protect your subscribers. Click on the underlined word "message" in If a message is too large,
reply with this message to edit the message MailXpert will use to reply to senders of messages that are rejected because they exceed the
limit you've set.
Mark check boxes grouped under label Additional steps to decide what else would you like this wizard to walk you through. To set up the dial up connection for MailXpert to use when receiving and sending email messages, simply mark the check box labeled Let me choose a dial-up connection to use for sending and receiving. You don't need to mark this check box if you're accessing the Internet via a local network or in any other way that doesn't require dialing up. Mark check box labeled I want to create a new mailing list or other email service after MailXpert is configured if that's what you want to do right away. Depending on the options you've selected, click on button labeled Next or Finish to proceed to the next wizard step or to confirm selected configuration settings.
If you are running the Professional Edition under Windows NT or later, you will see the following additional step:

Mark the Run MailXpert as an NT service check box if you would like MailXpert to run even when no user is logged in. You will need to type in a valid user name and password for the
user account you want MailXpert to run under. To have MailXpert run as a regular executable clear the check box.
This is what you'll see if you marked the Let me choose a dial-up connection to use for sending and receiving check box during the first step:

During this MailXpert Setup wizard step you can choose the dial-up connection MailXpert will use to connect to Internet, add a new connection and edit or
delete the existing ones (Add, Edit and Delete respectively). You can also set up MailXpert to never dial a connection, to dial
a connection when there are no active connections at the moment or to always dial the chosen connection. To choose the connection MailXpert will use,
select a connection from the list of dial-up connections and click on the Set Default button. If you want MailXpert to disconnect the connection
it initiated after it’s done processing email, mark the check box labeled Hang up after sending and receiving. Please note that MailXpert will
not hang up any connections initiated by other applications.
Here's the screenshot of the last MailXpert Setup wizard step that is displayed if you marked the I want to create a new mailing list or other email service
check box in the first step of this wizard:
