Style Options

Style - Version 7 offers 11 site map styles:

• Fully expanded static tree: In this style folders and files are listed in a tree structure. This site map style will work with all browsers.

• Dynamically expandable tree: In this style folders and files are listed in a tree structure. By clicking on the expand/collapse icons on the left you expand or collapse folders in the tree. You can also choose to generate an Expand all / Collapse all command that will expand or collapse all tree items. This style requires at least a generation 4 browser (NS4 or IE4) for expanding/collapsing ability but will also work with older browsers.

• UL List: This is the simplest style. It will generate a site map consisting of <UL> and <LI> elements.

• Multiple column list: This style generates a multiple column list. It will work with all browsers.

• Index page: This style generates an index page. You may choose to generate multiple output files.

• Portal interface: This style generates a portal interface (similar to www.yahoo.com). Multiple output files will be generated.

• Drop down list:This style generates a drop down list with navigational choices. Upon selecting an item from the list, the user is redirected to the desired URL.

• Custom XSLT style:You can create your own style using XSLT transformation. This style allows complete customization of every aspect of site map appearance but requires an external XSLT script.

• Hierarchical diagram: This style will create a hierarchical diagram.

• Tree applet (Java): This style will create a tree as a Java applet.

• Mega folder: This style will create a mega folder.

Offset between levels - Determines horizontal difference in pixels between a parent and its child element. Not used in some styles.

Background color - Background color of output site map page(s).
