Insertion Rule

Fig 1. Insertion rule properties window
Insertion rules determine where and how output objects and custom HTML code should be inserted into the output page.
This advanced feature not only allows for insertion of output objects generated by SiteXpert into existing pages anywhere on the page
but also allows for insertion of custom text (HTML code) into a single or multiple HTML pages.
Aside from insertion of output objects / custom text, this feature can be used to remove HTML code from the page or replace it
with new code or output object. Everything is done automatically according to the rule specified in this window.
What do you want to insert into the document - Determines whether a custom text (e.g. HTML code)
or output object generated by SiteXpert will be inserted into the page.
Where in the document do you want to insert the above item - Determines where in the document
the custom text / output object will be inserted. This can be one of the following:
Perform insertion for all occurences of the above text - This option tells WNM to process
the rule for all instances of given text found in the template file. When this option is not selected, only the first occurence
will be processed.
Mark inserted item to allow its removal and updates - This option is only available when
modifying existing web pages and tells WNM to mark all inserted code so that the next time it processes the web page it can update
or remove previously insert code.
