Output Settings

In the output settings window you should specify output settings for your web site (all output pages used in the document), e.g. FTP upload options and directories for images, scripts, includes, and CGI scripts.

Upload to local or network drive - Selecting this option tells WNM to save output pages on a local (e.g. C:) or network drive.

Upload to an FTP server - Selecting this option tells WNM to upload output pages to an FTP server. You should specify additional options, such as login, password and firewall or proxy settings.

Images directory - Specifies the HTTP path to directory containing images generated by WNM. This should be an absolute path, e.g. "/images" or "http://www.mydomain.com/images" and should be the HTTP representation of the directory specified in the field "Upload directory for images".

Upload directory for images - Depending on your choice between local or FTP upload, this is the FTP or local directory where the images generated by WNM will be saved (uploaded). This directory should reflect the path specified in the field "Images directory".

Scripts directory - Specifies the HTTP path to directory containing scripts (.js files) generated by WNM. This should be an absolute path, e.g. "/js" or "http://www.mydomain.com/js" and should be the HTTP representation of the directory specified in the field "Upload directory for scripts".

Upload directory for scripts - Depending on your choice between local or FTP upload, this is the FTP or local directory where the scripts (.js files) generated by WNM will be saved (uploaded). This directory should reflect the path specified in the field "Scripts directory".

Includes directory - Specifies the HTTP path to directory containing includes (.inc files) generated by WNM. Includes are only generated when output page's include style is different than "Embedded HTML code". For example, includes are generated when creating PHP, ASP, FrontPage output pages. This should be an absolute path, e.g. "/includes" or "http://www.mydomain.com/includes" and should be the HTTP representation of the directory specified in the field "Upload directory for includes".

Upload directory for includes - Depending on your choice between local or FTP upload, this is the FTP or local directory where the includes (.inc files) generated by WNM will be saved (uploaded). This directory should reflect the path specified in the field "Includes directory".

CGI scripts directory - Specifies the HTTP path to directory containing CGI scripts generated by WNM. CGI scripts are only generated when a search engine is included in one or more output pages. This should be an absolute path, e.g. "/cgi-bin" or "http://www.mydomain.com/cgi-bin" and should be the HTTP representation of the directory specified in the field "Upload directory for CGI scripts".

Upload directory for CGI scripts - Depending on your choice between local or FTP upload, this is the FTP or local directory where CGI scripts generated by WNM will be saved (uploaded). This directory should reflect the path specified in the field "CGI scripts directory".
