Simply enter a start URL and SiteXpert's spidering module will automatically scan your web site. Advanced filtering technology allows for exclusion of documents based on their title, file name, location within the website or domain name. Together with a number of other options the spidering module is sure to deliver a well formatted map of your web site.

SiteXpert also provides other methods of creating a map of your web site. The file structure mode (1) follows the file and directory structure of the web site providing a great way to map a well organized web site. The XML mode (2) allows importing data from any XML format. This can be data from your database, spreadsheet, or any other application which supports the XML format.

With a single click you can choose from one of many predefined site map schemes. SiteXpert features 8 different site map styles (DHTML menu, DHTML collapsible tree, static tree, bulleted list, multiple-column list, portal interface, drop-down list, index page) PLUS a fully customizable XSL style where it's up to you to present the site map in any way you like. SiteXpert will also automatically create a search engine for your web site. The search engine database and script are placed on your web server, ensuring high speed searches and security of your data.

SiteXpert enables full customization of fonts, frame settings, and colors in the site map. You can also easily place the site map into an existing document using a template file.

Before saving the results, you can see a preview of the site map (1) in an integrated IE preview window. SiteXpert can save the output files on a local/network disk (2), upload them to an FTP server (3), or even save the output in XML format. You can set up SiteXpert to automatically update the site map document to reflect changes in your web site. This can be done once per day or even every few minutes.
